We are now in the waning cycle of the Moon, as she moves from Full last week to New next week.
If you like to living by the lunar cycle, this is the time to be shedding, letting go, releasing and moving on, if you can. This is not the time to be starting anything new, if you can possibly help it. Rather, take your foot off life’s accelerator and breathe a bit.
This week is notable for a rather intense Mars/Saturn clash which takes place on Thursday evening and which we will feel in the few days beforehand.
Mars is the planet of anger and Saturn is the planet of restraint. This week, they’re clashing. So what we get is unbridled anger which needs releasing, banging up against a stone wall of non-emotional. It can be a tiring time!
If you’re banging your head against a brick wall, stop!
This is a week to make sure you’re channelling your energy wisely. Don’t argue with people just because they are there, or because they are bossing you around. If you feel like your efforts to achieve something or get through to someone are being thwarted at every turn, see if you can hold off on pushing things for one more week. Even by the weekend, the energies will have shifted.
Everything that happens in the astrological cycle happens for a reason, even if we can’t see what it is. This week could be very good for being more disciplined when it comes to expressing your anger, for example. It could be useful for realising that you’re wasting your time on someone or something. It could be a time when you finally stand up to someone who is brandishing their authority over you. Just mind how you go!
The week ends on a more positive note when Venus connects with Pluto. There is love, lust and powerful artistry in the air.
