Think of the August eclipses as portals to the future and you won’t go too far wrong.
The only thing is, to make the most of this portal, you have to be willing to walk through it.
Change is exciting but, of course, it can also be disconcerting. The less resistance you put up, the easier the eclipse process will be.
How intense the August eclipses are for you depends where in your chart they’re falling – if they hit a personal point or planet in your chart, you will feel them more intensely.
Once you start to follow eclipses, you will notice big events turning up in your life. Think of it like this. We came to this earth with a job to do, a soul purpose. However our egos sometimes lead us astray, and we wander off our path and away from our life purpose. Eclipses seem to work to put us back on the right path, sometimes unceremoniously. Eclipse season is big so pay attention this month!
BUT WAIT, THERE’S MORE!
As if two eclipses weren’t enough, we also have some other big astrology playing out in August. Basically, sit tight because it could be a bumpy ride to a better place!
FOR A START, MERCURY IS GOING BACKWARDS AGAIN
As of mid-month, Mercury the planet of communications will be going backwards in the sign of Virgo. This means we can expect quite an intense Mercury retrograde cycle this time around, since Virgo is one of Mercury’s two home signs (along with Gemini).
If you want to live consciously and intentionally, use this cycle (which lasts into next month) as a time to rethink all the minutia, the details of your life. Think about all the little things you usually don’t have time for, at work and at home. Those little niggling things you need to take care of. Also rethink your health plan, your diet and finally, think about who you can help more. These are the top three things to think about at this time, in a general sense. WHAT ABOUT LOVE?
For those of you with love on your mind, here is the news. Venus, the planet of romance and riches, will spend most of the month in the sign of Cancer. This is extra good news for Cancers, Capricorns and people who have either of those two signs rising (find out here www.moonmessages.com/freechart)

AND IF YOU NEED MORE REASONS TO MAKE SOME LIFE CHANGES
As well as the eclipse this month, which are already something very special, we also get, early on in the month, a rare connection between the planets Jupiter and Pluto. This happens in the wee small hours of August 5 but you could already be feeling it and you will almost certainly continue to feel it and the aftermath of it after the event.
The good news is that because Jupiter is involved, whatever happens around this planetary hook up should be positive (there is no such thing as a bad Jupiter transit, so they say). However Pluto is the Lord of the Underworld and paranoid and powerful, so feelings could be running deep nevertheless.
This Jupiter/Pluto connection simply backs up the fact that August 2017 is a month all about changes. Here’s a rundown of where this is happening for all the signs – wherever is mentioned could be intense as the Jupiter/Pluto link hits – however because Pluto is involved, actually, it’s probably already pretty intense anyway. This is all part of a long term cycle. This month’s energies could be a turning point, hopefully towards better days. Transformation is possible!

Note that because Jupiter is involved, any transformation now is likely to be positive. But because Pluto is involved, it’s likely to be somehow explosive too.

A HAPPY ENDING…
With all the excitement of the eclipses and Mercury going backwards and Jupiter and Pluto having their rare hook-up, you could wonder how the heck you’re likely to be feeling at the end of the month. Hopefully as though everything you have been through was all worth it in the end.
The last day of the month sees a fabulous link between Jupiter and Saturn that basically says “all’s well that ends well”. It also says “your hard work is paying off in wonderful ways” and “good things come to those who graft hard”.
In particular, if you have been working hard on a relationship, personal or professional, now is the time it could start to feel more stable as Jupiter is in Libra, the sign of partnership at the time of this connection.
