HOW ARE YOU DOING?
So here we are in February and out of the first eclipse season of the year. How was it for you? I hope you are feeling well and happy!
I was at the Sri Narayani Peedam ashram in southern India at the time of the New Moon eclipse this week and sat in at a Chandi Yagam which is a fire prayer ceremony. It was attended by 10 priests chanting from the vedas. **Amazing energy!!!**
One of the most wonderful things was that I managed to get my husband and son joined me at the ashram for the first time in six years. Even better, even though they had a lot of doubts about coming, they had an amazing time.
I am still in India now and loving it but also slightly starting to looking forward to getting home in a few days and unpacking everything I have bought for doing pujas at home and reconnecting with the energies.
One thing I learned while being in India this time was that while meditation is GREAT (I’ve been doing that for 20 years) doing pujas can be even more powerful. It was actually my fellow Hay House author Rebecca Campbell who turned me back to chanting and I got the message loud and clear at my ashram than chanting is MASSIVELY important.
The ashram I go to has one message; surrender to the Divine. The teacher there, Narayani Amma, says that if you really want something, then set your intentions (sankalpa) but better yet surrender to the Divine.
I am so into that idea – and I am feeling quite inspired to develop some teachings about this and how to use the Moon as a cosmic timer with your intentions.
