WE NEED TO TALK ABOUT THE MOON

Q: Why are more and more people coming to my Moon workshops and why is my book Moonology selling and selling? (I mean, if astrology is a niche subject, the Moon is niche niche!)

A: WE LIVE IN AWAKENING TIMES

I just came home from doing a workshop for 50 people in Devon (UK) where we talked about the Moon in general, and the Full Moon and Full Moon forgiveness in particular.

I also just saw on amazon.co.uk that my book Moonology is STILL at number 2 on their astrology best-sellers list, SIX months after its publication.

So what is going on, with people coming to Moon workshops in droves and books like Moonology selling and selling? (I mean, if astrology is a niche subject, the Moon is niche niche!)

I believe it’s because we truly are in the awakening times for women. We are rising up and we are remembering who we are.

We women know we are connected to the Moon and we know can harness the Moon’s power. We just need to remember how. (And dare I say, my book aims to teach that).

WHY THE MOON?

Like women, the Moon is mysterious. We are tuned into her. We innately know we can make magic at the New Moon. We know our bodies’ cycles are the same as the Moon’s. In traditional symbology, as well, the Moon is wholly feminine.

So-called witches knew all this, hundreds of years ago, and were burned at the stake in their thousands for their knowledge.

No wonder witches traditionally met in secret covens away from the prying eyes of people who didn’t understand.

No wonder it has taken hundreds of years for women to dare to start to dabble again with their abilities.

Men (not all of them) took the wisdom of women and burned or drowned them for it and those memories are scarred into our DNA.

They burned our great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great grandmothers! Of course we felt scared to exercise our powers!

Nowadays they (not all of them) don’t burn us, they belittle us. Or they spread fear about it all, calling the wise women working with the Moon ‘dangerous’, scaring people.

That’s their defence. And OH MAN, it works!
