This week brings a Full Moon eclipse. That alone is something. If you have spent any time watching your own astrology, you will already know that eclipses are peak periods, energetically. If you’re not affected someone else is. And it makes life quite intense. Full Moon eclipses are when we tend to go into some kind of tug-of-war.

It could be about our need to succeed versus our need for a happy personal life. Or our need to be right versus our need to get on well with someone. Or our need to belong to a group versus our need to express ourselves and who we are.

So this week, if you want to ‘live consciously’ (surely the holy grail of the new age) then observe your own patterns of behaviour – look at where you feel torn. Make resolving that incongruity a priority.

The next level you might like to consider about the eclipse this week is that it’s taking place across two signs, Aries and Libra. The Full Moon itself is in Libra, the partnership sign. Aries, on the other hand, is the Me! Me! Me! sign (no disrespect to Aries – we all have Aries somewhere in our chart!)

So again, take a look at your most important relationship(s) and ask yourself are being selfish or perhaps giving too much? Full Moons bring a chance for balance and Full Moon eclipses are that, plus plus.

Finally, if you want to really get how the eclipse will affect you, the greatest level of detail you can get it to look at where it’s falling in your personal chart. For that you can see an astrologer, or read your weekly stars. If you know your Rising Sign, read that too.

The Full Moon eclipse takes place on Wednesday at 10pm. Visit http://www.moonology.com/full-moon-meditation for a free Full Moon meditation.
