Year Ahead Aries

What’s in store for you for 2017

FALLING IN LOVE, MUCH?

Possibly the biggest news for you this year is that the planet of good luck and good times, aka Jupiter, spends most of 2017 in your Love Zone. This essentially means you have the best love luck you’ve had since – forever! (Or at least for the past decade or so.)

Having Jupiter in your Love Zone is wonderful for a few reasons. For one thing, Jupiter is the happy planet so having him in your Love Zone suggests your love life is going to be overall pretty upbeat this coming year. Of course every relation has its light and shade, but overall it’s safe to assume you are in a good love cycle.

Also, if you’re single, Jupiter will widen your options in terms of who you meet. For example, if you go online to look for love, you’re likely to do quite well. Either that, or you might find lots of people where you study or at work are suddenly on your flirtation radar, and you are on theirs. Think “lots of” and you get the idea.

If you’re attached, then watch out! This is a transit that can lead to marriage – no kidding! Of course, if you’re too young, chances are you won’t be walking down the aisle this year. But if you’re the right age, then yes, your relationship could go to the next level.

That’s assuming you’re happy in your relationship. If things are not good, then actually this becomes a really good year to make a bid for freedom. Remember, this is your year to be happy in love, so if you’re miserable, Jupiter could aid and abet you in doing something about that!

BUT YOU ALSO NEED TO KNOW THAT…

From early March to late April the love planet Venus will be reversing in your sign. If you feel a bit less than lucky in love during this time, don’t panic. You’re actually being given a chance to weigh up what really matters to you and who you really value. It’s all good. If you’re pining for an ex, this could be the time they reappear, be that for reconciliation or closure.

WHEN IT COMES TO STUDY AND TRAVEL…

You still have the planet of lessons and ambitions, aka Saturn, in your Travel and Study Zone for nearly all of 2017. On the one hand, this can be an issue. Make sure you’re not being at all blinkered in life, be it professionally or personally. The part of your chart where Saturn is hanging out is the part of your where you see ‘the bigger picture’ of life. In other words, where you can count your blessings, even when things are going haywire. Saturn here can mean you can’t see the good stuff because you’re too focused on the bad stuff. However Saturn can be trained! So use this year to remember the importance of thinking positively! There is a reason why psychologists through the ages have written about how powerful it is to expect the best.

The best way to use Saturn right now (and overall he is in a position which supports your sign) is to study hard, do a lot of travelling for work, create a weekly gratitude ritual (eg journaling for yourself or doing your gratitude list publically online, make travel plans, make study plans and generally aim to keep as open a mind as you can.

This is also a time for you to work really hard because when Saturn moves at the end of the year, he will move into your 10th House of Career. In other words, if you’re promotion-worthy at the end of the year, you could get some kind of recognition. But if you’re slacking off with your studies or at work, the end of the year could see you paying the price! Yes, Saturn can be a scary dude!

AND PS

One thing to note about 2017 is that you don’t have any eclipse action in your sign and nor will you for a while. This is important because actually, you did have eclipse energies in your sign for a long time. And that is why you have hopefully changed your life in amazing ways. If you have had a tough time the past few years, that’s also why – but the eclipses are over so … hurrah!

Having said all that, life is still going to be a bit of a roller coaster in 2017 as you still have mad Uranus in your sign. Be flexible for best results!
