I just read a brilliant Facebook post by Hay House UK supremo Michelle Pilley.

In it she spoke about what various Hay House authors were trying to achieve through their work.

It got me to thinking about what I’m trying to achieve with the work I do here on Moonology.

>>> My aim is to help people reveal their powers to themselves so they see they’re actually not as out of control as they might feel.

By working with the New and Full Moon, you will start to see that you are in fact a powerful being. Not a victim. You will stop to see very clearly that you can steer and guide your life, also known as manifesting your own reality.

It reminds me of my first trip to my Indian ashram in 2005. At that time, the days consisted of us to 12 hours of puja prayer ceremonies.

I remember asking one friend, “what do you think about during puja?” She replied “my whole life”. I said it was the exact same thing for me.

One thing I processed during my five weeks there was a terrible awful painful relationship break up I’d had which had left me shattered.

Sitting at the pujas for 12 hours a day, I pieced the sequence of events which had all but eviscerated me.

I could see that far from being the victim, I’d walked in eyes wide open to this relationship, knowing that it could become very toxic. I’d even been warned by others. I’d created my own reality.
That was a major realisation for me. I’d say it was life-changing.

Which brings me back to what I want to do here. I want others to see they are not victims but creators of reality.

It’s not always easy to see but a lot of the time it is.

Once you start to work with the power of intention – for example by making New Moon wishes or doing Full Moon forgiveness – you take your destiny in your hands.

Yes there’s karma to deal with and a lot we don’t understand but we are powerful beings.

There’s one more New Moon before the years end, on December 29. Tune in!
