I have to admit, I don’t dare get on the scales at the moment as I have been enjoying rather a lot of Christmas cheer. How about you?

On an energetic level though, I wanted to share with you a new rediscovery – shaking! Have you done it?

A few weekends ago, I was some old pals in the countryside. He is a Tai Chi teacher and he got us all to do some shaking to this video here.

I found it really powerful and have done it at home a few times since.

The idea, I think, is that is shakes everything up so there is less stagnation. Stagnant energy is one of the great enemy’s of good health.

This is such an easy practise and 10 minutes of it has to burn a few calories.

Here it is again. If you say you don’t exercise because you’re too weighty and it’s uncomfy, this is the perfect alternative and if you do exercise, this practise will free you up further. Click here for the video.
