Year Ahead Sagittarius

What’s in store for you for 2017

The biggest thing you need to know about 2017 is that you still have tedious task master and misery guts Saturn in your sign, pretty much all year. However, believe it or not, there is an upside to this! In fact. Saturn really is a drag, there is no denying it. So if you’re starting the year feeling like your walking (or trying to walk) through treacle, with a smell of nasty rubbish up your nose, just to top things off, then that’s Saturn!

So what’s the upside? Well you might ask! Saturn is the greatest teacher of the zodiac. So any issues you faced last year or you face this year have been sent because on one level or another, your soul wanted to deal with them and learn from them.

Saturn is the stench of reality. Of course we’d all like to float along in a water-coloured puff of a pretty life with music playing and birds tweeting. However life does often have different ideas. The thing is that it seems as though we’re here on earth to learn lots of lessons. Partly those lessons are about to be happy. But partly they do also seem to be about more problematic issues. If we can surmount the problems which come our way and still be happy, that’s when Saturn leave off us and goes elsewhere.

So that’s where you are now. Under the gaze of Saturn. Being challenged to get organised, to be grown up, to be realistic and to face facts. You’re also being asked to work hard. Like a dog, basically.

The more you think long term this coming year, the happier you will be. In other words whenever you have to make a decision, consider the consequences, how you will feel in the morning or next week. The more you can do this the less painful the Saturn cycle will be.

AND YET YOU HAVE FREEDOM…!

Despite the presence of Saturn in your sign this year, you do have freedom of movement, thanks to Jupiter, the travel planet, who is in your Travel Zone. While bunking off and getting away from it all for real might not be an option, if you can work out good, mature, perhaps study or work-related reasons to travel, then chances are the Universe will be happy to send you off on an adventure. So do get away from it all!
The other Jupiter factoid to note though is this; come October, Jupiter changes signs and moves into your Ambitions Zone. This is Divine timing, really. It means that all the hard work you have been putting into making your dreams real thanks to Saturn beating you with a stick can actually start to pay off. Jupiter in this part of your chart makes you a bit of a star – someone who is seems as not just appealing but also successful. Diving timing indeed! So do put in the work and it should pay off by the end of the year.

WHEN IT COMES TO CASH…

Wouldn’t it be nice if all this hard work you’re putting into also had some kind of knock-on cash benefit? Well there is good news; it probably will do! The eclipses this year call across both your Cash Zones. In fact there are two scenarios here. One is that you’re slacking off despite Saturn’s demands, in which cash there could be a cash crisis. However let’s assume you’re putting in the hard yards and creating good cash karma for yourself. In that case, chances are any money twists and turns this year should be good ones that go in your favour. It could be that you land a well-paid full or part time job or even that you get some kind of cash windfall, perhaps (sadly!) related to an inheritance (cross your fingers for a best case scenario where some very, very old long lost relative you never knew happily hops off this mortal coil after a wonderful life and leaves you a motza!)

AND WHEN IT COMES TO LOVE…

Love-wise, the middle of the year looks like your best time for some romance as the Sun, Venus and Mars all make their way through your Love Zone (not in that order). Your love mission, should you chose to accept it, is to make time for romance. You could be studying or working so hard you forget to canoodle. No!
