It’s fair to say that the keywords for December 2017 could be “exciting changes” as connections between Mars, Saturn and Jupiter and Uranus dominate the coming four weeks.
This planetary action should also mean we all have more energy, that hard work from 2016 could start to pay off, and nearly all change that takes place now should be positive.

BUT HANG ON, CAN IT ALL BE SO GOOD IF MERCURY IS RETROGRADE?
It’s true that Mercury is going into another retrograde cycle this month, this time around in the sign of Capricorn. For Cappies, that suggests they are somehow looking backwards, perhaps reconnecting with someone or somewhere for the past. For the rest of us, it can mean something quite similar (see below) however what you also might want to consider is that Mercury will be reversing on December 25. In other words, if you celebrate Christmas, this could be one out of the box, so to speak. Mercury retrograde is not bad luck or anything like that but it can be rather confusing. Triple check your plans with family and friends, otherwise there could be misunderstandings and even missed rendez vous. For some, Mercury retrograde on Christmas Day will somehow create a bit of blast from the past. Perhaps you will see someone this silly season you haven’t seen in a while. Because Mercury retrograde does things twice, or somehow takes the present back to the past, and because there is a rerun feeling to this cycle, do keep all your receipts for any Christmas presents that you buy – some of them could be going back to the shops!

Meanwhile with all the room for Christmas mayhem and madness, thanks to Mercury’s reverse cycle, there is some good news; the planet of love and abundance, Venus, will be moving into Aquarius this month and this is good news for everyone. Reason being, Aquarius is the sign of humanity and Venus is the planet of love, so that augurs well for goodwill to all men and women over the holiday season. Be aware that Venus in Aquarius is a little less clingy than in some other signs. So if your partner or friends or family are not smothering you quite as much as you might like right now, this could be why. It’s ok. We all need a breather every now and then.
