Have you ever wanted to learn astrology? I know a lot of people who read this site are interested.

Many of you have done the free 3-part series Astrology Basics course which was available for the past couple of months.

I know a lot of you are using my free chart program here.

Understanding astrology is wonderful and opens many doors, in the spiritual and material world. It’s a wonderful tool for self-understanding and also as a lens through which to view the world and make some sense of it.

If you already know you’re definitely keen to learn astrology, Hay House and I recorded an in-depth 6-part astrology online course here. It’s a wonderful thing to put on your 2017 To Do list IMHO!

May I just tell you about how I got into astrology? It’s a lovely memory of not so much hearing my calling but of having someone else draw my attention to it. If you had told me when I was a 20 year-old cadet journalist that I’d end up writing astrology on something call the internet, I wouldn’t have believed you.

I came to astrology because, I had a friend from University who was also an astrologer. I won’t name any names, since she has Sun in the 12th house! I was very drawn to her cosmic side. After Uni, we bumped into each other somehow and started to catch up over coffee and Tarot cards quite often. It was a magical time of learning for me.

She was such an unusual person, with a cat and, I sometimes fancied, when she was getting some kind of psychic download, a slight squint.

We would sit on her couch and talk esoterics. I had never had anyone else who could talk esoterics quite like that, especially with the astrological knowledge. I was quite enraptured with what she was teaching me, which was mainly lots of astrology and soaked it up. (I tried to teach her about angels, pyramids and the other dimensions, but it wasn’t her thing.)

Eventually, when she came to move away, she cleared out her office and gave me milk crates packed with THE seminal astrology books that had been written up to that point (about 20 years ago).

She also taught me how to read an ephemeris and guided me me some free-to-download software, so I could do my own and others’ charts, and that was it.

I fell in love with astrology. I was well and truly on a new life course! She told me later was she was quite often “other people’s Uranus transits”. A sort of astrological in-joke. And indeed Uranus had just passed over my MC.

If you would like to learn astrology too, as I said, Hay House and I recorded this in-depth 6-part astrology online course which you can access here.

Check it out and see if you think you might like to do it – I made it as easy a way as I could, for anyone to know enough to find their way around their own chart or anyone else’s.

Enjoy!
