This month I didn’t make my New Moon wishes!
Oh yes, it’s true. I meant to but I was on holidays (lucky me!) and the New Moon night came and went. As it goes, I was in Aix-en-Provence in France with my family and another family. Our sons are great pals. They are from the USA and were visiting. I just didn’t find the time, neither to
1. Do the New Moon webinar I meant to do this month in lieu of doing on in person and
2. Nor to make my actual New Moon wishes
Is this the end of the world? No it’s not! For one thing, anytime is a good time to make wishes and set intentions (though New Moon is best). For another, the only person who suffers is me. For yet another, it’s not like a mega rule that you have to make your New Moon wishes and set your intentions. It’s just a really good thing if you do…
The reason for this, among other things, is that making New Moon wishes and setting our intentions around the time of the New Moon gets us really clear on what we want for ourselves. The act of writing them down is super-powerful. And visualising them is important to.
The other reason to connect with the New Moon is to see which part of your chart the New Moon is taking place in. In other words, which House. The New Moon just gone took place in my 5th House I am happy to report! That’s aka my Fun Zone. I have worked very hard this year, writing not one but two books! The first was Moonology (still #2 on amazon.cok.uk‘s astrologer bestsellers list!) and the other is called Astrology Basics, due for release in December, also with Hay House (with an accompanying online course to go with it!)
The work continues. Today while on ‘holidays’, back in Paris, I’ve spent 6 hours (so far) in front of my computer editing Astrology Basics. Tomorrow I will fly away to somewhere hot and sunny! And then it when that New Moon in the 5th House will kick in, I hope!
One really brilliant thing is to work with the New Moons in your chart for 12 months. Do that and you will have experienced and relished and enchanced every part of your life, as the New Moon lights up all 12 Houses, representing every part of life, over a 12 month period. Not sure how to do that? Just keeping tuning in back here!
So anyway, I am going to do my New Moon wishes now. If you haven’t done yours for August, would you join me? The Moon is in crescent phase. That’s still powerful. Better late than never!
