Went to the gym today, first time post-Christmas. Had a revelation! Suddenly it all makes sense.

I was listening to a positive thinking/law of attraction track someone put me on to when they quoted the old saying “you get what you think about most of the time”.

Suddenly I understood why:

1. Sustainable regimes like Weight Watchers work because you have to think about food and your plan to shed weight ALL the time – this is because you have to monitor how much you’re eating all the time so you are totally and continually focused NOT on how f*t you are but rather on your desire and intention to SHED weight AND on how well you’re doing – win/win/win.

Get it?

Moreover, you activate the law of attraction when you go to the gym and/or do something like WW or 5:2 or whatever because you feel GOOD, because you know you’re keeping within healthy limits – so you’re focused not on how ******* f*t you are but rather on shedding the weight … and you feel GOOD about that – perfect combination!

2. Why skinny people stay skinny – because unlike f*t people, they don’t walk around thinking “OMG I am so f*t!” Rather they walk around thinking “Oh I am so slim – and I feel look great!” Once again, a perfect law of attraction provoking more feeling good and looking good. And yes there are people who are slim because of unhealthy habits but that is not what we’re talking about here.
