NEW MOON PHASE – MOON IN SAGITTARIUS: If you’re a regular Moonology reader, you will know that I have put together something called Cosmic Extras (which you can read at the bottom of this page) with the various signs and houses of astrology. In fact, you can use the Aries Cosmic Extras with the 1st house, the Taurus Cosmic Extras with the 2nd house and so on (if you understand astrology, you will understand this!)
My main reason for devising them was twofold:
1. Writing Angel Astrology 101 with Doreen Virtue, we correlated the Archangels and the zodiac signs using a rather interesting and very intuitive process – this got me to thinking…
2. In Vedic astrology (which they use in India) astrologers advice their clients to buy a particular gemstone, for example, to go with certain transits. I never wanted to sell gemstones but I did want to be able to offer people something to work with as they work with astrology. It would be easy to just say “meditate!” and that really would cover it in many ways. However going forwards from the Angel Astrology, I wanted to add more.
Anyone who knows me know I am all about connecting with the Divine. And the Cosmic Extras are ways to meld astrology and the Divine together. So if you want to connect with the Divine via the New Moon, go right ahead! For me, it’s important to do this for at least 12 months or ideally, forever! If you do that, you will work with all the energies over the course of year. The Moon has moved out of Scorpio but we are still in the New Moon phase.
