THE BIG NEWS OF THE MONTH… for all of us…

The big news is … there is really not all that much big news. Hopefully what that means is that we are all going to have a slightly easier time of it. It really could be a merry month of May!

If life has been hectic up and down of late, this month should see you more able to settle into cruise mode.

Do be aware that Jupiter, the planet of good luck and good fortune, ends his retrograde cycle this month. The retrograde shouldn’t have been an issue, per se, however to have Jupiter moving forward is preferable.

Essentially what it means is that the good luck planet is going to be triggering new and lucky developments for us all, new opportunities will be opening up and there will be chances to make easy improvements in all parts of our life.

SPEAKING OF JUPITER

On May 26, Jupiter will clash with the hard facts and hard reality planet Saturn. Is this a bad thing?

To answer that let me tell you about a moment which took place quite a few years back.

rob-hand I was at a wonderful astrology conference held every year in Oxford, England. It boasts the best astrology teachers in the world, and pretty much the best of the best, a gentleman called Robert Hand was on the speakers list. (Robert Hand is pretty much the number 1 astrologers’ astrologer and is famed for both his tireless historical research into astrology and for his book Planets In Transit, which nearly every astrologer owns…)

Mr Hand and I (aka The Fangirl) were talking at one point during a break, and we got to discussing Jupiter and Saturn.

Robert Hand said to me in his deep, booming and authoritative voice – and I quote “there is no such thing as a bad Jupiter transit”.

What Robert Hand says pretty much goes. This is a man who allegedly taught himself Latin and ancient Greek so he could decode centuries old astrology documents. So if he said it, I believe it.

Building on Mr Hand’s comments, it would be fair to say that when Jupiter touches Saturn, he somehow makes Saturn a bit nicer and a little bit less of a drag.

So think of it like this. Right now, Saturn is in the sign of Sagittarius. That means wherever Sagittarius is for you is where you have a lot of hard work to do and a lot of lessons to learn. (Stay with me!) Only this month, there could be a sort of respite, some kind of relief, an easing up, as Jupiter sends Saturn some Jupiter jollies.

EXPECT MIRACLES…!

THE BIG VENUS DATES FOR THE MONTH AHEAD

One thing which stands out looking at the stars for the month ahead is that Venus is in really good shape. Venus is the planet that covers issues (and non-issues) related to love and abundance so when she is doing well, most of us are doing relatively well too. And in Moon news…

The May New Moon in Taurus

This is a really wonderfully ‘placed’ New Moon for anyone who likes to do New Moon wishing and intention setting. Reason being, it takes place very handily on a Friday night, all the better for getting together with a couple of friends to set your intentions for the month ahead ( but you can also do it just as well alone). If you’re wanting some kind of second chance, this New Moon could assist you, as it’s taking place very close to Mercury which is currently retrograde. This is also a very energised New Moon which speaks of transformation. It’s closest link with the change-maker Pluto. The potential now for profound change is huge but you have to tap into it. Decide where you want change and step up. It’s time to do OH so much more than simply ‘make an effort’!
