The Aries Chakra

The New Moon in Aries triggers the Solar Plexus chakra. The Aries chakra is about stepping into your power. If you meditate, meditate on your Solar Plexus chakra today!

The global financial crisis has left many people feeling disempowered. Today is the day to turn that around. Decide that you and only you are in control of your finances. Get that money is energy that travels through you for your work. It’s your energy made manifest.

Third Chakra: Your Solar Plexus Chakra

Aries and the third chakra are ruled by the planet Mars. The solar plexus chakra is found above your navel and is all about YOU having the courage to step into YOUR power. It’s about refusing to be pushed around.

“Consciousness: Parts of the consciousness associated with this chakra include perceptions concerned with power, control, freedom, the ease with which one is able to be themselves – ease of being. Mental activity and the mental body is also associated with this chakra. The solar plexus chakra is also associated with the level of being we call the personality, or ego.”

The Archangel of the New Moon is none other than the divine Ariel.

Ariel is a wonderfully sprightly Angel who will help you get outside in nature and clear your head. She has the Spring energy traditionally associated with Aries. When I recorded my Aries New Moon webinar last night, the Retreat Into Nature card came up. I realise now how appropriate that was for this New Moon. I didn’t see it at the time but of course, it’s an exhortation from the heavens to us all to shake off the past and blossom like a flower!

The Goddess of the New Moon is Athena. If you need courage and you relate well to Goddesses, ask her to come into your life now. She is an archetypal energy. The Goddess energy is said to emanate from much higher dimensions that the Earthly realms, of course.

(A note to Aussie and NZ readers; the fact that our seasons are upside down doesn’t bother me. We are going into autumn but we can still work with the Aries Spring energy. Think about where you have allowed a part of yourself to lie dormant throughout summer – it’s time to reinvigorate!)
